A COMPACT OPTOELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT WITH A DISPOSABLE SENSOR-BASED ON SURFACE-PLASMON RESONANCE

摘要
A compact optical instrument featuring a disposable front-end sensor based on surface plasmon resonance has been developed. Mechanical scanning was eliminated by using a linear photodiode array, which was interfaced to a laptop computer. The instrument has an angular resolution of 0.01-degrees, was shown to reliably measure the water content of water-alcohol mixtures, and the glucose content of blow.
