摘要
It is shown that the Oseen drag on an arbitrarily shaped object at infinite Reynolds number is the sum of two contributions. The first contribution is the product of the object's cross section perpendicular to the main stream direction and rho U-2, where rho is the constant fluid density and U the main stream velocity. The second contribution is the pressure drag on the rearward side of the object. The pressure distribution can be obtained by a generalization of Stewartson's calculational scheme for the sphere.
