Transformations in the urban space and the dynamics of the production of a public space: an assay on the Parque do Povo in Presidente Prudente - SP

The present study it has the yearning to collaborate for the debate on the joints between the process of production and the implantation of the public space of the Parque do Povo whom if it locates in the city of Presidente Prudente - SP. It was intended by means of the analysis in materials and projects, understand and reflect the paper of some agents producing urban space in the process of space reproduction and, also aimed to observe from the analysis of several existing sociospatial practices, the main forms of production and deployment of a public space, for the understanding concerning this space and its paper in the city in question. They are pertinent questions in the work: the diverse forms of production of the public space by producing agents of the urban space; the understanding and a quarrel concerning the current situation of the public space and its different meanings in the society contemporary; the consumption in / the public space of the Parque do Povo; and the specifics found in the current process of producing a public space in the walk of daily life.
