摘要
The KEK high gradient test facility is described. Results are given of tests made on two 22-cell TW sections - one 'KEK' made by Japanese industry and the other 'CERN' made using technology developed for CLIC. The KEK structure was conditioned to an average accelerating gradient E(av) of 68 MV/m in 600 hours. The CERN structure reached 85 MV/m (a peak field level of 138 MV/m) in 50 hours - these fields were limited by the power available from the klystron. The dark current at 50 MV/m was less than a few mu A for the CERN section but 20 to 30 mu A for the KEK section.
