Technical support for the nuclear option - Section reports of the Annual Meeting on Nuclear Technology in Nuremberg, May 16-18, 1995

The Nuremberg Meistersingerhalle was the venue of the 1995 Annual Nuclear Conference (JK '95) on May 16-18, 1995. The meeting again was organized jointly by the Deutsches Atomforum (DAtF) and the Kerntechnische Gesellschaft (KTG). Approximately one thousand experts from Germany and abroad followed the invitation to attend the event. As in previous years, the program consisted of plenary sessions, topical and technical sessions, poster sessions, as well as special events and technical excursions. The accompanying exhibition enabled participants to be ''backfitted'' to the current state of the art by manufacturers, vendors and service companies. The approx. 200 papers presented at the technical sessions were arranged in nine sections. The summaries presented here are based on the selections made by atw reporters.
