PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE ELDERLY

摘要：

This article research was essential to analyze the impact of physical education in the quality of life for the Elderly, in the villages of Comprehensive Care Geronte Aragua State. The method of this research was descriptive nature, based on field research and documentary. The population of this study included those older in age ranging from 60 years or more, which are long-lived 217 belonging to the four villages of Comprehensive Care for the Elderly, located in Aragua state. The sample was composed of 87 elderly people accounting for 40% of the universe under study. The technique for collecting information was the survey. The instrument was used to collect data was a mixed questionnaire. In response to the results it was concluded that in 75% of villages observed give physical education classes to Gerontes and 86% of them expressed that it is very important Physical Education to improve the quality of life.
