摘要
The safety requirements for conveyor belts in German underground coal mining relating to fire, electrical and mining hygiene characteristics are roughly as follows: The belt must not cause fire propagation. In case of drum friction textile belts must not inflame, No electrostatic charge may build up on the surface, which might ignite a mixture of inflammable gases and air. In case of heat and fire decomposition products must not occur in amounts large enough to damage or cause intolerable irritation of skin or eyes. The effectiveness of filter self-rescuers must not be impaired. Conveyor belting for underground coal mining represents products on a high technolgoical level. Vulcanized joints and mechanical fasteners were optimized relating to dynamical strength and service life.
