摘要
Methods of calculating the characteristics of the three main types of magnetostatic waves (MSWs) in ferrite films with inhomogeneities along the propagation direction are suggested. It is shown that the use of non-uniform magnetic fields is when it is necessary to provide increased wave absorption or to increase their delay times under the condition of the absence of significant reflections. Nevertheless, there may be real situations in which in MSW devices the losses due to dissipation and reflection can be of the same order, which require the latter ones to be taken into account.
