Longitudinal nonlinear oscillations of a finely dispersed aerosol and the effect of its accelerated coagulation and deposition in an open flanged pipe near the subharmonic resonance are investigated experimentally. The decrease in the number density of aerosol droplets with time for the investigated excitation frequencies and intensities of oscillations has been elucidated. The nonmonotonic character of the dependence of aerosol coagulation and deposition time with a minimum and maximum on the excitation frequency in transition through resonance has been determined. The influence of a flange on the process investigated has been studied.
