摘要：
This paper reviews the application of CD weight control to several types of multiply formers including Kobayashi, Manchester and flat multiwire-type formers. Actuator requirements and headbox modifications are discussed. Strategies to optimize CD weight by applying different numbers of actuators to specific formers and the use of control techniques such as MFAC (Multi-Frequency Actuator Control) are reviewed. Typical improvements in CD weight are also presented.
