摘要
A child feels, thinks, acts and expresses him/her self while in movement. Movements often reflect emotions, therefore observations and analysis of a child's motor behaviour may be a source of information for an investigator on the mental state, possible behaviour or developmental problems a child might have. This is why the verification of the level of child's development should be more complex than merely based on subjective opinions of teachers or parents. One of the method of assessment of preschool children developement are psychomotor tests. These tests let us to diagnoze the motor skills of children and to observe their personality. They are tools which support the global diagnosis of child's development. The article describes the relevance of using the diagnosis of the motor sphere of a child's development in order to uncover beforehand the first symptoms of the psychomotor disorders of preschool children.
