摘要
In this paper, the, parallelism of classical histogram equalization will be discussed. Two parallel versions for computing cumulative histogram sums on parallel computer system of the SIMD type are presented. Their computation complexities are O (log log n log m) + + O (log m) respectively (n is the size of the image and m corresponds to the number of grey levels). Then two parallel algorithms for reconstructing new image are proposed with the complexity O (nm log m).
