EFFECT OF MUSSOORIE ROCK PHOSPHATE, NEEM CAKE AND MOISTURE REGIMES ON SOIL COMPOSITION

摘要
The soils were incubated for 15 days and 30 days with and without neem cake and rock phosphate at three moisture regimes i.e. 20% 40%, and 70%, of water holding capacity. The soil analysis revealed that total nitrogen, available P2O5, available nitrogen, organic carbon increased with the addition of neem cake and rock phosphate alone or incombination. However, the pH of the soil was lowered due to treatment. Release of nutrients at higher moisture regime and with increased incubation period were observed to be increased.
