摘要：
A good computer aided engineering system is a prerequisite for an efficient approach to computer integrated manufacturing techniques. 2D CAD systems have brought about significant productivity gains in the engineering office. 3D solid modeling systems, on the other hand, cover wide possibilities, since the coherence and data integrity provided allow the real use of data from design up to manufacturing. As a result, real productivity increases are achieved.
