Objective: Analyze the imaginative dimension of customers' in hemodialysis, awaiting renal transplantation. Method: Descriptive, sociopoetic, applying the device research group composed of 12 people who developed the technique of minimum dynamic body as a territory. Occurred in 2006, in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro-Brazil. Results: In the categorical analysis was delimited 62 themes, including: uncertainty, fear of life end, dependence on health care without autonomy to manage their lives. The categories were: overcoming the dialysis constraints because of uncertainty and hope changes under the insecurity perspective. Conclusion: It was concluded that the imaginative dimension of the group is configured on the risk to which the patients is submitted, seeing their continued existence with quality of life. Under this perspective, it is suggested a proposal for nursing sensitive care, helping patients through education and promotion of their welfare, even in their stage of uncertainty related to survival expectations.
