摘要：

New Age is a term that has become part of everyday vocabulary. The movement as it manifested in South Africa about two decades ago has not remained static. This article surveys the movement as it appears today and indicates the areas of greatest change since it was first described fifteen years ago. The two components where the most notable change has occurred, the interest in African spirituality and the growth of Paganism, are investigated in some detail.
