摘要
The paper focuses on the issues of personality development during the initial stages of independent life in young men and women in various conditions of socialization. A study was conducted on the basic patterns of personality development in young orphans and non-orphans. The participants were 90 young adults with an average age of 19 years, among which 44 subjects (18 male and 26 female) were brought up in families and 46 (24 male and 22 female) in orphanages. The study outcomes revealed both similar (autonomous, impulsive and estranged patterns of personal development) and dissimilar (conformal, impulsive, symbiotic patterns of personality development, meaningful and satisfactory life) characteristics in the two samples. The study has important implications in terms of psychological support for orphans and non-orphans in young adulthood.
