摘要
Problems in fuel cell development in Poland are discussed. Thermodynamics and physical chemistry, including pertinent chemical reactions, are presented. Special attention is given to the advantages and limitations of some currently available fuel cells. Acid electrolytes (phosphoric acid) are compared with the second-generation fused carbonate electrolytes. Carbonate-based fuel cells are shown to be the most promising fuel cells for the next decade.
