摘要
Textures of rapidly solidified FeSiAl ribbons have been determined and correlated with the magnetic properties. Textures in as cast state are generally {100} < Okl >. Ribbons with aluminum contents less than 2 wt.% have a tilting angle in the range of 15-degrees to 20-degrees between surface normal and (100) pole into spinning direction at the free surface side. Moreover, these ribbons show a small in-plane anisotropy with k = l = 1 at the more rapidly solidified wheel faced side. The initial texture can be increased by surface controlled grain growth. At that the tilting angle remained unchanged, and in-plane anisotropy increased. The determined frequency dependence of power loss can be explained by the measured textures using a magnetization model developed by Bertotti. Texture after cold rolling can hardly be reproduced even after succeeding surface controlled grain growth heat treatment.
