摘要
The high-temperature susceptibility of the diluted semimagnetic-semiconductor Cd1-xMnxS (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.35, 0.43) has been measured. It was found that the high-temperature susceptibility of Cd1-xMnxS behaves in accordance with the Curie-Weiss law. From chi(T) measurements the exchange integral of the Mn2+-Mn2+ interaction 2J1/k(B) = (-22.1 +/- 0.5) K (effective exchange integral) was obtained. A spin S = 2.60 +/- 0.1, close to its atomic value S = 5/2, was also found. The role of superexchange in this alloy is discussed briefly at the end of the paper.
