摘要
The present study has as objective to discuss the function of the scientific knowledge for physical education. The main point of this discussion will be on the physical education and its thematic object and pedagogical intervention, this means, the corporal culture. We start from the assumption that the senses established for the meaning of the corporal culture knowledge are currently based on an ideological/ philosophical/ epistemological basis that reproduces the current social model, this means, in an empiristic ontology that contributes to maintenance of the capital sociability. We confirm the need for changes in the current senses of the corporal culture in the physical education sphere, so that we can make it an element that contributes to the establishment of transformation possibilities of the current social reality.
