ANALYSIS OF QUANTUM FEATURES IN TRANSPORT-THEORY FROM A QUANTUM MONTE-CARLO APPROACH

摘要
We present applications of a recent quantum Monte Carlo approach to the solution of the Liouville equation for an ensemble of carriers in semiconductors. Quantum corrections to the classical one-scattering trajectories are analysed from an 'exact' numerical solution of the quantum problem and the role of intracollisional field effect and the finite duration of the interaction are discussed on the basis of numerical results. The analysis of two-scattering trajectories enlighten the role of quantum multiple scattering with respect to two non-interfering single classical collisions.
