Lessons in good breeding

Two UN agencies recently invited Annabel Fossey to participate in an intensive training course to learn about the latest plant breeding methods. Professor Fossey, who is in the Department of Generics at Pretoria University and the first South African to be so honoured, talks about the experience and what it could mean for the practice of this aspect of biotechnology in southern Africa.
