We investigate the characteristics of Cooper pair tunneling through a system of two superconductors separated by a double-barrier semiconductor quantum well. The zero-voltage critical supercurrent is calculated for a select range of well widths and doping concentrations, and is found to depend sensitively on these parameters. Resonance effects arising from an optimal alignment between the Fermi level and the subband eigenenergies in the well are shown to enhance the current by up to four orders of magnitude.
