ON THE COHERENT TUNNELING CURRENT IN SEMICONDUCTOR HETEROSTRUCTURES

摘要：

We derive a new coherent tunneling current formula which gives smaller peak-to-valley ratios in JV curves when compared with those calculated with the well known results of Tsu and Esaki and their previous corrections. A new kinematic factor behaviour as a function of temperature and applied bias is presented.
