QUALITY ANALYSIS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES TAUGHT BY SECONDARY TEACHERS

The main aim of this work was to know the students view of Physical Education about the quality of the classes given by the teacher. Moreover there are other secondary objectives: analyzing the different view of the quality from different sexes, ages/levels and to evaluate the relationship between the students' view and their interest in Physical Education. In order to develop the current investigation we have focused our attention to the Decree 291/2007, which establishes the Secondary School in the Region of Murcia. The study was made in a Secondary School in the city centre of Murcia. There were 335 students and it was used an instrument called 3CEF, the average of the students' age was of 15,13 +/- 1,7. The results we found, showed that the students' answer were above the medium value, taking into account that the instruments had a Likert scale from 1 to 5, in which 1 was totally disagree, and 5 was totally agree. The comparison between variables was analyzed : the mean of the different parts of the questionnaire according to the sex, levels or interest in Physical Education. With the current article, we would like teachers to realise about their students' view of the quality of Physical Education classes.
