摘要：
We carry out an IBFM-2 survey of symmetric and nonsymmetric M1 excitations in odd-mass nuclei where the odd nucleon is in an unnatural-parity orbit and is coupled to a deformed core. We perform a detailed calculation for Ho-165, of relevance to some recent experiments, and predict the occurrence of scissors states at energies higher than the ones scanned up to now.
