We are in a rime of radical change. It was started by worldwide competition and global mobility of production technologies. in spae of all our former success this change cannot be made with our current structures and behaviour. We have to create small rapidly acting and flexible structures, which are directed towards customer orientation and internal as well as external cooperation. The full potential of employees has to be leveraged, this requires a new approach to leadership and responsibility Ability to chance and conscious behaviour as well as sympathic and consequent overcoming of resistances and indolence are the inevitable prerequisites. Leadership has to be directed towards comprehensive teamwork and coaching, it should encourage independence amongst the employers. Successful organisations can handle continuous change, they generate permanent readiness to learn and ability to innovate. This will be achieved by socially competent team-capable managers, who are not risk-averse.
