摘要
This research aimed at identifying the contemporary reliving of myths in the sphere of role-playing games (RPG) by apprehending the symbolic dimension contained in the universe of these games and checking the possibility of occurring an experience of the sacred in their context. In field research, the techniques for data collection were participant observation, interviews, open questionnaires with structured questions and the Archetypal Test with Nine Elements (AT-9). The use of the General Theory of the Imaginary, by facilitating the unveiling of the players' symbolic micro-universes, confirmed the hypothesis according to which games and playing (in this case, of RPG) are deeply revealing of the human subjectivity.
