摘要
The data of literature about the high frequency of unintentional drug overdose and suicidal behavior among drug addicts. In order to evaluate these two indicators conducted continuous (non-selective) survey of 426 patients with opioid addiction (F11), applied to the rehabilitation center. Various forms of suicidal behavior were found in 347 persons (81.5%), which main group study (men - 81.6%, women - 18.4%, age - 22.1 +/- 1.8 years). Duration of opiate 0,9 +/- 3,6 years. The comparison group is chosen according to the criteria of comparability - 74 drug addicts who do not have suicidal behavior. It is shown that in 51.6% of drug addicts with suicidal behavior, autoaggressive trends are observed prior to the use of opiates. The development of the disease, leading to social and psychological and somatic distress, suicidal potentiates the activity and increases the risk of suicide. 90.6% of drug addicts treated self-poisoning (mainly drug overdose) as the most likely method of suicide. Unintentional drug overdose recorded significantly more often (27.1%) among persons with suicidal behavior, confirming the close relationship between these events and justifies the mandatory identification of cases of overdose when collecting medical history to estimate the increased risk of suicide among this group of patients.
