摘要
The two S-containing compounds, beta , beta prime -thio-di-(N-hydroxymethyl-propionamide) (I), beta , beta prime -thio-di-(N-methoxymethyl-propionamide) (II) and the amine derivative, tris-(N-hydroxymethyl-2-carbamoylethyl) amine (III) were applied to cotton fabrics, under different conditions, to test their rot-proofing properties. The increase in concentration of the above reactive agents was found to be followed by increases in the amount of released formaldehyde whereby the fabrics acquire more immunity against micro-organisms.
