LYME-DISEASE RELATED KERATITIS

Lyme borreliosis has been associated with both anterior and posterior segment inflammation. The authors describe three unusual forms of keratitis presenting with stromal scarring and/or subepithelial haze. This article emphasizes the importance of maintaining a high index of suspicion for Lyme disease in all patients displaying unfamiliar corneal findings and living in endemic areas.
