摘要
Despite the importance of boiling heat transfer to electrolyte solutions for many chemical processes, hardly any published information is available on this subject. To fill this gap, pool boiling heat transfer was studied for pure water and various salt solutions. Heat transfer coefficients, nucleation site densities, bubble departure diameter and bubble frequency were recorded over a wide range of heat fluxes. Some important similarities to bubble mechanisms in bubble columns operated with electrolyte solutions have been observed. © 1990.
