摘要
Absolute values of the cross-sections, sigma(R), for the family of reactions: Ca(D-1(2)) + ROH --> CaOH* + R, (R=CH3, C2H5 y C3H7) have been measured. The results, of the order of a few thousandths of Angstrom(2), reflect a considerable steric hindrance as the size of the radical group increases. Ire order to compare the effect of the radical group in the cr, values obtained, we include the cross-sections for the system: K + RI --> KI + R, (R=CH3, C2H5 y C3H7), already measured in our laboratory. From qualitative analysis, a possible mechanism for the observed reactive channel is proposed.
