摘要：
This article discusses the application of UAE law to construction disputes in the UAE. It provides initial insights into how the UAE courts deal with international and local construction disputes at a municipal level. The importance of UAE law as a governing law on the merits should not be underestimated as many construction projects located there are subject to UAE law. With an increase on construction projects and foreign investments in the region, a proper understanding of UAE law in a construction context becomes increasingly important.
