摘要
The samples studied were grain boundary brittle in both the water quenched and step cooled condition. Since S segregation to grain boundaries was detected only in step-cooled samples, and since the segregation was minimal for most grain boundary facets, it is concluded that the grain boundaries are intrinsically brittle.
