摘要
The presence of strongly positive exercise electrocardiograms is often used as a marker of extensive coronary artery disease (CAD).1-3 On the other hand, several studies show that patients with normal exercise thallium images are at a low risk of having cardiac events, such as cardiac death or nonfatal acute myocardial infarction. 4-11 The prognosis of patients with normal thallium images in the presence of strongly positive exercise electrocardiograms is less clear. This study examined the prognosis of patients with strongly positive exercise electrocardiograms who also had normal singlephoton emission computed tomographic (SPECT) images with thallium-201. © 1993.
