摘要
This prototypical example lies the answer to this question: Czecho-Slovakia especially Slovakia. First of all, it is necessary to distinguish between two terms: behavioral sciences and behavior oriented psychology, If the subject of psychology should be deliminated only by behavior, the psychology in this region (see textbooks) was hardly ever a behavioral science. Research of such topics as perception, memory, learning etc. was always carried out also by self-reporting methods, e.g. by measuring the relevant experience. However, in the 50's after the liquidation of the so called burgeoise psychology, the period of the so-called Pavlovian psychology was ''imported'' from the Soviet Union. The term higher nervous activity has been introduced instead of experience but analogous to behavior. Some textbooks of Pavlovian psychology by Czech authors appeared at this time. In Prague and Bratislava a laboratory for this type of research was built, e.g. for the experimentation with conditioning of different reflexes in man. Later, however, the Pavlovian psychology was integrated into other psychological trends and at the end of the 60's, disappeared slinking from psychological activities. Some influences of this period on the theoretical and methodological development of psychology in Slovakia will be presented in more detail.
