摘要
This paper addresses parallel image reconstruction. The forms of parallelism in image reconstruction are briefly reviewed. The formula determining the speedup attainable in parallel image reconstruction is derived. Some examples of parallelization of image reconstruction algorithms are presented and their speedups determined. The limits of parallel image reconstruction are discussed.
