GENERALIZED LAX AND BACKLUND EQUATIONS FOR LIOUVILLE AND SUPER-LIOUVILLE THEORY

摘要
We generalize the Lax pair and Backlund transformations for the Liouville and N = 1 super-Liouville equations to the case of arbitrary world sheet background geometry. We use the fact that the Liouville equation expresses a constant curvature condition, which in turn is equivalent to flatness of an SL(2, R) or OSp (1, 1) connection.
