摘要
Predictions are presented of the inert pollutant dispersion from a continuous point source over a two-dimensional ridge with triangular cross-section; the two-dimensional flow field is obtained after numerical solution of the time-averaged Reynolds equations, and the three-dimensional concentration field from the transport equation of the material; the equations are written on an orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system and transformed into finite difference form after discretization in physical space; turbulence is simulated by the two-equation kappa-epsilon model of the turbulence. In the first part of the paper, the numerical method is discussed and in the second part the results are presented and compared with available laboratory data. The results are of engineering importance and clarify the transport mechanisms of pollutant as the pollutant trajectory is greatly affected by the position of the pollution source relative to the surface obstruction.
