摘要
In three patients with a vitreoretinal-central nervous system lymphoma (large cell intraocular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma) diagnosis and prognosis were made on ophthalmic aspects. All three patients initially had uveitis, which is a hallmark in this form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, later on followed by neurologic signs and symptoms. The patients were treated with a combination of radiotherapy and intravenous or intrathecal chemotherapy. One patient had a survival of more than ten years. The authors' cases show that patients in whom uveitis of obscure aetiology persists, followed by cerebral lesions, are highly suspicious of a vitreoretinal-CNS lymphoma. Vitreous aspiration and/or vitrectomy can establish the diagnosis. Thorough neurologic evaluation, including CT scan and cerebrospinal fluid cytology, are necessary
