摘要
In this paper we describe a system to assist in testing, maintaining, and repairing singleboard computers. Although is was developed for the special purpose of testing a relatively large number of microcomputers within a short time by untrained staff, many of the realized ideas and solutions may be implemented in other test systems. The system consists of three main functional blocks: the first subsystem automatically detects errors and faults and can be used as a stand-alone system. The second subsystem is able to localize exactly the detected faults. It works semiautomatically with comfortable user guidance. The last subsystem is a commercial computer which controls and integrates all functions and creates statistical reports of detected and localized faults. A user friendly graphical interface makes the handling of the system easy for untrained persons.
