Sodium alkylpolyoxyethylene carboxylates such as Synperonic A3C(Na), A7C(Na), NP5C(Na), NP7C(Na, NP10C(Na) and Tridecanol 6.5C(Na) were used to obtain micellar solutions for enhanced petroleums recovery in reservoirs having high salinity of the connate water. Laboratory results with respect to phase equilibria in water-hydrocarbon-surfactant-cosurfactant-electrolyte mixtures are presented. The effects of petroleum, electrolyte, surfactant and cosurfactant are discussed. The results allow to obtain micellar solutions with high efficiency of oil recovery when the temperature, the petroleum composition and the brine concentration are given.
