摘要：
C/D-Rings component of phytochromobilin dimethyl ester was readily synthesized by employing our recent new preparative method for 3,1,5-disubstituted 1,5-dihydro-2H-pyrrol-2-ones and their coupling with a 2-formylpyrrole. A convenient method for the preparation of a substituted pyrrole common to B- and C-rings was also described.
