For far too many years we have been unable to fulfill requests for a current biographical reference on African American Kentuckians. In response, two librarians, Reinette Jones and Rob Aken, created Notable Kentucky African Americans < http://www. uky. edu/Subject/aakyall. html>, a continuously updated online reference source that is tailored to the profiles ofAfricanAmericans in and fromKentucky.
