摘要
The basic physical phenomena and principles underlying the modern magnetic sensors of electric, magnetic, mechanical, thermal etc., quantities are discussed. Attention is focused on the sensors for highly reliable and precise process control systems as well as for data input into computers including such devices as contactless keyboards, magnetic data tablets for input of handwritten text and pictures, etc. Some approaches toward future magnetic sensors are highlighted. The review is based on the analysis of numerous publications in this country and abroad as well as on the studies of the present author. The first part is devoted to sensors based on various ferromagnetic phenomena. The second part will consider sensors based on the galvanomechanical effects, including magnetosensitive integrated circuits, magneto-optical sensors, and sensors based on such phenomena as superconductivity, nuclear magnetic resonance, electronic spin resonance, etc.
