摘要:
This article reports research based on interviews with Maltese Catholic school headteachers which shows a variety of responses to the growing number of African students of 'other faiths', who are arriving in the island. It demonstrates the dilemmas that these school leaders face, involving concerns about maintaining the Catholic ethos of the schools on the one hand and concerns about showing openness and hospitality to those of 'other faiths' on the other hand.
