摘要
The kinetic and equilibrium measurements are reported for the reactions of 1-X-2,4,6-trinitrobenzenes (X = H, Me, Et, iPr) with pentaisopropylguanidine in acetonitrile. For X=H and iPr only sigma complex formation was observed whereas for X=Me and Et we observed two products: sigma complex and conjugate base. The rate and equilibrium constants, activation and reaction parameters for sigma complex formation and the proton transfer reaction are discussed.
