摘要
The whole process of teaching and learning, regardless of level of education, involves reading short and extensive texts from books or magazines, newspapers or internet. Currently, the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPED), the Brazilian Association of Reading (COLE) and National Meeting of Didacts and Teaching Practice (ENDIPE) have documented the urgency of knowledge in the formation of independent readers in the universities. What to think about the formation of the autonomy reading of the future teachers? Proficient readers use different strategies for understanding and interpreting of texts. In the training of teachers, the reading is crafted not only as a professional tool, but also as personal and social. Through a "Survey" (GIL, 2002) conducted by a private confessional institution responsible for training and retraining of educators in Sao Paulo, we seek to know and study, through testimonials from Undergraduate beginning students, strategies for reading of written texts used and recognized by them in the process of teaching and learning. The results were analyzed from a socialcognitive-interactional approach.
